Mill

The Bridgeport mill can machine components with flat surfaces, slots, pockets, holes, etc out of metals and plastics. The table can move in the x-y and z direction and the head spins the tool like end mills or drills.

Lathe

The Clausing 1300 lathe has an 8" chuck for turning cylindrical metal and plastic stock into symmetrical and round pieces. The tailstock can attach drills for creating holes. Some common parts include spacers, shafts, and even threads!

Welder

TIG welding uses Tungsten electrodes along with an inert gas to make strong, precise, and clean welds on steel and aluminium. Welding can join tubing for roll cages and bike frames, pipes for exhaust or radiators, and even intricate joints from other machining operations.

Electronics

Wiring, soldering, prototyping PCBs, and measuring electrical waves on a oscilloscope can be done on my bench with a electrostatic discharge mat.

My typical rate is $150/hr, but project based prices can be discussed.
